RBL Round 6: #1 REG is defeated by APR

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated REG (9-1) in Kigali on Friday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked APR (8-1) 77-75. APR maintains third position with 8-1 record behind leader Patriots. Defending champion REG still keeps top place with one game lost. They share the position with Patriots.
RBL top team - Patriots (9-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Orion (4-6) 79-48. Patriots have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record, which they share with REG. Newly promoted Orion dropped to the eighth place with six games lost.
Bottom-ranked IPRC-Kigali (0-8) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to fourth ranked Espoir (6-3) 90-66 on Friday evening. Despite that victory Espoir went down to fifth position due to points difference. IPRC-Kigali at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 6: SFTS lost to UGB on the opponent's court 60-68. Winless IPRC-Musanze was outscored by K-Titans in a home game 41-109. Tigers recorded a loss to REG on the road 78-61. SFTS defeated IPRC-Huye on its own court 79-75. Orion was beaten by APR in a road game 85-72. Winless IPRC-Kigali lost to IPRC-Huye at home 44-56. K-Titans managed to outperform UGB on the opponent's court 66-57.



UGB - SFTS 68-60

Rather expected game when 8th ranked SFTS (4-4) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked UGB (5-5) 68-60 on Friday. UGB have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 5-5 record. SFTS at the other side dropped to the seventh place with four games lost.
