Team Mpoyo beat Team Steve in 2022 All Star Game

Team Mpoyo earned the 2022 Rwanda League All Star Game victory. They overcame Team Steve in the showdown at the BK Arena on Saturday. Kendall Gray (208-C-1992, college: Delaware St.) came up with 29 points and 14 rebounds to lead the winners.
Team Steve led by 8 points after ten minutes of action 34-26. But Team Mpoyo responded with a massive 41-20 rally in the second period to surge ahead. They added 39 points in the fourth quarter to snatch the win. Adonis Filer (195-G-1993, college: FAU) produced 28 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Steven Hagumintwari (198-SG-1993) accounted for 23 points and 7 rebounds for Team Steve. Dieudonne Ndizeye finished with 24 points in the loss.
