D1 Round 9: No surprise as #1 Patriots defeat Tigers

D1 top team - Patriots (8-0) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Tigers (1-7) 87-72. Undefeated Patriots have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 8-0 record. Tigers lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with seven games lost.
The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked UGB (4-2) played at the court of 8th ranked SFTS (2-5). UGB did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 72-52. UGB moved-up to fifth place. SFTS lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with five games lost.
Leader REG (7-0) crushed at home 7th ranked 30 Plus (2-4) by 67 points 123-56, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for REG. They maintain second place with 7-0 record behind leader Patriots. 30 Plus at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost.

In the last game of round 9 Espoir destroyed UR-CMHS on the opponent's court 83-46.



UR-CMHS - Espoir 46-83

Very expected game when 14th ranked UR-CMHS (1-11) was crushed at home by tenth ranked Espoir (2-3) 83-46 on Sunday. Espoir moved-up to seventh place. UR-CMHS at the other side stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost.
