Patriots defeated REG to take the lead in the D1 Finals. Patriots had a 39-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Patriots made 10 blocks. International Dieudonne Ndizeye (203-96) stepped up and scored 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and international point guard Sedard Sagamba (188-90) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. At the losing side the former international center Kami Kabangu (203-84) responded with 15 points and the former international Elie Kaje (198-95, college: Bossier-Parish CC) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
