Makiadi
29-year old center Micheal Makiadi (C-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Patriots and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 15.
He had a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team UR (#9, 0-16) with 46-point margin 95-49. It allowed Patriots to consolidate first place in the Rwandan league. Patriots have a solid 14-2 record. In the team's last game Makiadi had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Patriots and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Makiadi has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 9.3rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg and 52.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Steven Hagumintwari (198-SF-93). He is international in his second season at Patriots. In the last game Hagumintwari recorded impressive 24 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course together with Makiadi he helped Patriots with another comfortable win outscoring UR (#9, 0-16) 95-49. Of course Patriots still keep the league's top spot. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 14 matches. Hagumintwari is well-known at Patriots and together with Micheal Makiadi he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.1ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 6.3rpg and 3.4apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Fabrice Mugiraneza (PF-95) of APR (#6). Mugiraneza scored 15 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of APR, leading his team to a 80-53 easy win against UR (#9, 0-16). APR needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 7 lost games. Mugiraneza has a very solid season. In 13 games in Rwanda he scored 5.8ppg. He also has 4.8rpg and FGP: 61.9%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Hubert Bugingo (SG-96) of IPRC-South - 11 points and 16 rebounds
5. Aubi Kasongo (C-86) of Patriots - 16 points and 10 rebounds
6. Olivier Shyaka (197-SF-95) of REG - 19 points and 12 rebounds

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
