Okogie starts his pro career at Minnesota Timberwolves - Jul 6, 2018

JOSH OKOGIE

Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) agreed terms with 19-year old naturalized Nigerian guard Josh Okogie (193-84kg-98). Okogie just graduated from Georgia Tech (NCAA). In 24 games he had very impressive stats: 18.2ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.5apg and 1.8spg last season. A very spectacular year in his career as he was named to All-ACC 3rd Team.
This summer he was drafted by the Timberwolves in first round (20th overall). Okogie just graduated from Georgia Tech and it is his first season in pro basketball.
Despite young age Okogie had great career. He played in the final of NIT in 2017. Okogie was also voted HS Gwinnett Daily Post's Player of the Year in 2015 and 2016 at his college time.
