First Bank ladies are the champions of the 2015/16 Zenith Bank Women's League which came to an end on Thursday at the indoor sports hall of the national stadium in Surulere, Lagos. The coach Samuel Ahmedu's ladies beat defending champions Dolphins 75-60 to be crowned the new champions of the domestic basketball league season. Chairman of Dolphins Basketball, Wale Aboderin, congratulated the winners while looking forward to the season. He said, 'It was a good game and I just hope that basketball fans were entertained.' And so we're already looking forward to the coming season.' The Best Five players for the competition following the three phases are Patience Okpe (165-F-94) of Dolphins, Magdalene Ukato (F/G-86), Nkechi Akashili (175-G-90), Chioma Udeaja and Okpe Atosu - all of First Bank.
