WCE Flames vs Tomahawks WBA - 43 : 64
The Flames were burning in the 1st quarter but Tomahawks coach decided to extinguish the oxygen by playing a full court press that reduced the flames to 4 points in the 2nd quarter where the lead was taken and the Hawks never looked back again.
Vickey K scored the usual 22 points for the WCE, followed by the former Widows (High School) sensation Taimi I with 10 (1x3pt).
For the Hawks, Conceicao "Kidi" Neto scored 19 (1x3pt), followed by Gloria H with 17 (1x3pt), and Monde S & Meke N both with 10 points.

Tomahawks MBA vs Poly Blues - 69 : 47
The Tomahawks had a slow start being down in the 1st quarter (12 : 5) but recovering in the 2nd half where they took the lead from the Blues and nothing could be done to invert the situation.
Poly's A Kamenye scored 14 points (2x3pt), followed by Longo P with 10 (2x3pt), and Simonall Q with 9. poly's MVP BD da Silva scored a season low of 7 points.
Back from the dead, Luis A was the top scorer with 19 points (2x3pt), followed by PG Freddie A's great performance with 18 (4x3pt) and Paulo C with 14.

Poly Dodgers vs Civics Starzz - 60 : 49
It was a tight game but the Dodgers showed more brain in their offense as well as defense getting out of the battle undefeated. Dodgers' Clara M was unstoppable as she put up a great show crossing out Nancy K and sending her straight to the floor while Starrz's Chenai D was destroying the baseline, giving Poly a tough time!
Starzz's Chenai D lead all scorers with 26 points (1x3pt), followed by Nancy K with 11 (1x3pt).
Dodgers' Clara M had 21 points, followed by Vivian A with 13 and Claudette G with 12.

Civics Suns vs NDF Carabinieri - 106 : 78
The Suns and the Carabinieri put up a great show of Dunks, Blocks and basketball in general, although the Suns outscored their opponents all the 4 quarters scoring 30 points, only, in the 1st quarter.
Carabinieri's Paulus P had a season high of 31 points (1x3pt),followed by PG Mandume S with 17 (4x3pt), S Justice with 13 (1x3pt) and J Shapumba with 6 (2x3pt).
Suns' Mpume H scored a season high of 37 points (2x3pt), followed by Eric N "Junior" with 20 (1x3pt) and Ramah M and Coulson J with 14 points apiece.

UBC Rebels vs Katutura Titans - 77 : 65
The Clear Essence Team fought the Rebels with all the weapons available, needing a little bit more ammunition to win the battle.
Rebels' Brian H showed supremacy over the Titans putting down an "Alley Hoop" fed by Nigel M and then dunking over two of their players during a fastbreak.
Titans' Corbin P scored 21 points, followed by Yobe M with 13 (4x3pt), and Yemi A with 12.
As for the UBC Rebels, the 2004 Season MVP Brian H scored 36 points (1x3pt),followed by Nigel M with 14 (4 x 3pt) and Mao M with 10.This time around, Isak N had 9 points (2x3pt) while Irwin H AKA Spike had 6 (2x3pt).


IBF 3x3 Young Lions Cup to be held at the weekend - 8 months ago
The annually held IBF 3x3 Young Lions Cup will be held again this weekend to determine a winner who will go on to represent the country in Botswana. Regions from all around the country will all gather at the Katutura Youth Sports Complex,Basketball Artists School, to play it out for gold! DHL Titans became 2016 champions - 2 Years ago
DHL Titans became 2016 champions. In the Final series they beat the Lions 3-1 in the KBA 2016 league finals. They grabbed the win at the UNAM gym hall. After being tied at 1-1, DHL Titans posted another two victories to clinch the title. Earlier in the Semifinals DHL Titans overcame the Wolves.   [read more]
