Once again the 2005 teams met in friendly matches to test their opponents and themselves.
Finally, the Civics Suns met the newest team in the league, the Katutura Titans that is being coached by Mervin "Showtime" and Gloria "Da Warrior" Hikumwah. The game was filled with dunks by the Civics Suns' players Mpume H and D Shikongo (Hakiti) while their new aquisition from the Tomahawks E Norman (Junior) missed a couple of them. The Katutura Titans had Nawa M making the difference on the post but it just wasn't enough as the Civics squad was blocking shots to stop the Titans fast-breaks. The highlight of the Titans was when Patrick G flew over the Civics defense to finnish on a spetacular dunk over D Shikongo that made the crowd go wild as it was unexpected. The final score for the game was 85 - 97 for the Civics Suns the DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.

Shortly after that, the UNAM Rebels the Defending Khomas Region Champions (For the second time) met the Poly Blues that went down very easily. The game wasn't as exciting as expected as the result was settled from the beginning even though the UNAM Rebels were playing with no structure at all. The MVP from last year the Zimbabwe Big Man, Brian "Bidza" Hore was on a dunking rampage as his Comrade Vusa was on a shooting streak. The UNAM Rebels gave an equal chance to all their replacements to play as the victory was conquered before the end of the battle. The final score for the game was 73 - 57 for the UNAM Rebels.
