The qualification round of the "National Championship" came out with unexpected results.
On the men's side, the two Khomas top teams tied up in the first position along with the Rundu qualifier (all with 3 wins and 1 loss).
Therefore the UNAM Rebels and the Civics Suns qualified for the finals, while the Rundu Spursharks and the Ongwediva Leopards have to battle for the third place.

On the women's side, for the first time in the National Championship history the runner-up of the Khomas league did not qualify for the women's final giving that place to the OCE Cubs. The Tomahawks WBA and the Rundu Tornadoes qualified for the third place match, while the Poly Dodgers meets the OCE Cubs for the finals.

*The standings for the first 3 teams of the men are due to the goal difference between them.
