Vania Sengo (ex FoA) agreed terms with Barcelos

Basquete de Barcelos (Liga Feminina) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Mozambique 185cm power forward Vania Sengo. Sengo already started the season at Forssan Alku in Finnish Korisliiga. In 6 games she recorded 11.3ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.3apg.
She was a member of Mozambique U18 National Team back in 2014.
Sengo has played previously professionally in Spain (Barakaldo) and Portugal (Boa Viagem, Olivais, Quinta dos Lombos, Sportiva and Clube Desportivo Torres Novas). Her team was regular season runner-up in Portuguese League in 2020 and 2023. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Honorable Mention in 2018, 2020 and 2024.
