Costa do Sol signs Alvaro Masa

Costa do Sol Maputo (D1) signed experienced 41-year old Spanish small forward Alvaro Masa (202cm-1983, agency: Interperformances). The last time (2021-2022) he played at AS Sale in Moroccan DEX-H. He missed last two seasons and had longer break from professional basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Masa has played in ten different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and Africa). He has played previously in Argentina (Ferro), Brazil (Sao Jose, Rio Claro and Vitoria), Chile (Valdivia and Aleman), Kosovo (Trepca), Morocco, Switzerland (Pully), Venezuela (Toros, Rojos and Acereros), Spain (Valladolid and Rosalia), Burundi (New Star) and Mozambique (Ferroviario de Maputo).
Among many awards he won Moroccan League championship title in 2022. Masa was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Chilean Liga Nacional Honorable Mention back in 2018.
He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Costa do Sol.
