Vania Sengo (ex Ferragudo) is a second import added to the roster of Forssan Alku

Forssan Alku (Korisliiga) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old Mozambique 185cm power forward Vania Sengo for season 2024-25. She is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Jacinta Buckley signed here earlier.
She played most recently at Ferragudo in Portuguese Liga Feminina. In 15 games she recorded 11.7ppg, 6.5rpg and 1.2apg last season. A very spectacular year in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Portuguese League Honorable Mention.
The previous (2022-23) season she played at another Portuguese team Sportiva/AzorisHotels Ponta Delgada in Portugal.
She was a member of Mozambique Under 18 National Team back in 2014.
She has played previously in Portugal (Boa Viagem, Olivais, Quinta dos Lombos and Clube Desportivo Torres Novas) and Spain (Barakaldo).
Her team won Portuguese League Regular Season in 2021.
