CFM Ferroviaro Maputo keeps Veloso for another season

CFM Ferroviaro Maputo (D1) has re-signed Silvia Veloso, a 25-year-old international guard who stands at 170cm tall. Veloso, who played college basketball at Cumberlands, was with the team last season.
She has been a member of the Mozambique international program for several years. She has regularly been called up to the Mozambique senior team since 2021 and previously for the U18 National Team in 2016.
She graduated from the University of the Cumberlands in 2021, and this will be her third season in professional basketball. She also played for Seward County Community College for three years.
