Jelan-Miguel Kendrick is a newcomer at Yamaguchi

Yamaguch Pats Five (B3 League) strengthened their roster with the addition of 31-year-old American 201cm swingman Jelan-Miguel Kendrick (college: UNLV, agency: Interperformances) for season 2023-24. Kendrick played last summer at The Nerd Team (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In three TBT games, he recorded very impressive stats: 16.3ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.7apg, and 1.0spg in the 2022 year. He also played for Ferroviario de Maputo (D1) in the Mozambican league.

Thanks to Kendrick's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Latin America, Africa, and of course North America). Kendrick has played previously professionally in Canada (London Lightning and Bandits), Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis), and TBL (Mesquite DD).

His team made it to the MWC Tournament Semifinals in 2014.

He graduated from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas in 2015 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball. Kendrick played also for The University of Mississippi for one year.
