2023 AfroCan Qualifiers: Mozambique rally past Zimbabwe in Final

Mozambique edged Zimbabwe in the 2023 AfroCan Qualifier in Bulawayo. Elves Houana scored 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to lead the charge.
Mozambique recorded a 26-19 lead after the opening quarter. They led throughout the second stanza arriving at halftime up by 15 points 43-28. Zimbabwe managed to stop the rot in the third term. They got within 10 points heading into the fourth period. But Mozambique held their opponents to just 13 points in the final term and raced to the win. Augusto da Costa provided 15 points in the victory. Tatenda Kudakwashe chipped in 13 points for Zimbabwe.
