Costa do Sol have won the battle of the Mozambican teams to reach the Final of the Champions Cup in Maputo. Costa do Sol overcame Ferroviario 53-49 in the semifinal. Trailing 3 points at the halftime, Costa do Sol replied with 17-11 run in the third quarter and won the last stanza 9-8.
Eleuteria Lhavanguane (180-F-1997) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Nilza Chiziane (188-C-1992) brought 9. Chelsey Shumpert (165-G-1995, college: Union, TN) answered with 17 points in a loss, whilst Dulce Mabjaiahad 10.
