Ferroviario Maputo - Sporting 79-70

Ferroviario Maputo have won Group B of the Champions Cup with a perfect 3-0 record. In the last game they overcame Sporting 79-70. The home side opened the game with a 23-9 surge, whilst Egyptian representative won the second and the third quarters. Only due to 19-14 run in the last stanza, Ferroviario Maputo managed to win the game.
Chelsey Shumpert (165-G-1995, college: Union, TN) top-scored for the winners with 19 points, whilst Stefania Chiziane (179-F-1996, college: Highland, KS) and Cecilia Henriques (183-C-1990) notched 15 each. Cierra Dillard (176-G-1996, college: Buffalo) replied with 22 points in defeat and Hagar Amer (184-F-1993) scored 20.
