Clitan De Sousa joins Alcobendas

Pacisa Alcobendas (LF Challenge) agreed terms with 25-year old Mozambique guard Clitan De Sousa (183cm-96, college: OK State) for new 2021-22 season. De Sousa played last season at UCAM Jairis. In 26 LF Challenge games in Spain she had 11.5ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week (2 times).
She was also a member of Mozambique international program for some years. De Sousa played for Mozambique Senior National Team two years ago and previously for University National Team back in 2015.
She also represented Mozambique at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) six years ago. Her stats at that event were 6 games: 7.5ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.8spg, FGP: 45.7%, 3PT: 15.4%, FT: 43.8%.
De Sousa graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2020 and it will be her second season as a professional player.
