Castello signs rookie Carla Covane

Carla Covane

Fustecma Nou Basquet Castello (LF2) inked 22-year old Mozambique 190cm center Carla Covane for upcoming season. Covane just graduated from Cumberlands (NAIA). She will play with two other player who started playing in Portugal, Artemis Afonso and Joana Ferreira.
She started her college career at Seward County Community College (JUCO) where she played three seasons.
As mentioned above she is just out of the college and it will be her first season in pro basketball.
She was a member of Mozambique U18 National Team back in 2016.
She won Portuguese Federation Cup in 2017.
