2021 AfroBasket Qualifiers: Senegal beat Mozambique for second straight win

Mozambique - Senegal 53-60

Senegal earned the second straight win in 2021 AfroBasket Qualifiers Group B. They rallied past Mozambique to remain undefeated in Kigali. Clevin Hannah (179-G-87, college: Wichita St., agency: BeoBasket) notched 13 points and 9 assists for the winners.
Senegal held Mozambique to just 7 points in the first period to open a 9-point lead at the first break. Senegal boosted the margin to 12-point margin at halftime 32-20. Senegal continued to dominate throughout the third term. They piled up a 17-point lead at the final break. Mozambique exploded with a 21-11 run in the fourth quarter but could not escape the loss. Youssou Ndoye (213-C-91, college: St.Bonaventure) posted 10 points for Senegal. Kendall Allen (201-F) responded with 20 points for Mozambique.
