Brea Edwards signs at Ferroviaro Maputo

Ferroviaro Maputo (D1) landed 23-year old American guard Brea Edwards (178-93). She just graduated from Middle Tennessee State University (NCAA). In 8 games she averaged impressive 18.1ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg last season. Edwards helped them to win C-USA Tournament and end the regular season as the second best team in the conference. It was a very successful season in her career as she was selected to All-C-USA 1st Team and C-USA All-Tournament Team.
As mentioned above Edwards is just out of the college and it will be her first season in pro basketball.
