Desportivo clinched the National Championship crown. They defeated Ferroviaro 67:43 to triumph in the country. It was the third straight title for a Nazir Sale team. Desportivo dominated the decisive game right from the start. They recorded a comfortable 26:8 lead after the opening frame. They stretched the margin to 19 points at halftime 41:22. Desportivo never slowed down in the second half and posted a well-deserved win at the end. Leia Dongue (184-F-91) was named the MVP of the tournament.
