Maxaquene clinch Senior Mens Basketball title - Nov 19, 2010

Maxaquene have been crowned as the senior mens basketball champions. They overcame their rivals Desportivo Maputo in two games in the Final. The first encounter was a tight contest with Maxaquene clinching a narrow 93:91 victory. The second game was all about the fight but once again Maxaquene proved the strength. They stole a hard 99:84 victory at the end to triumph in the tournament.

Maxaquene won the Regular Season and enjoys 11-3 record on top. Benefiting from the debacle of Sport, the Maxaquene finished the group stage in first place after a convincing victory over the Costa del Sol 86:61. Desportivo and Fer.Maputo share the second and third places with 10-4 records, while Costa do Sol is on the fourth place with 9-5 record. Desp. Beira is on the bottom with 0-13 record.
