DEX-H Round 24 (Regular Season): MTB beat IRT Tanger by two after a very close game

The most exciting game of round 24 in the DEX-H took place in Tanger. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of higher ranked IRT Tanger (15-4) to seventh ranked MTB (10-11) 86-84 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of IRT Tanger. MTB maintains seventh position with 10-11 record. IRT Tanger at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost.
DEX-H top team - MAS Fez (22-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked ASCHBB (4-17) 81-58. MAS Fez have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-1 record. ASCHBB at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 17 games lost.
The game in Marrakech supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked FUS Rabat (20-1) played at the court of 5th ranked KACM (11-11). FUS Rabat smashed KACM 100-61 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KACM. FUS Rabat have an impressive 17-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 20-1 record having 2 victories less than leader MAS Fez. Loser KACM dropped to the sixth place with 11 games lost.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 24: bottom-ranked CPAM was smashed by AS Sale on the road 119-60. CODM won against ASC on its own court 67-64. FAR Rabat unfortunately lost to WAC in Casablanca 75-82. Larache managed to beat Essaouira at home 89-73.



AS Sale - CPAM 119-60

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked AS Sale (15-5) crushed at home bottom-ranked CPAM (1-18) 119-60 on Tuesday. AS Sale maintains fourth position with 15-5 record. CPAM lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 18 lost games.

ASCHBB - MAS Fez 58-81

DEX-H top team - MAS Fez (22-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked ASCHBB (4-17) 81-58. MAS Fez have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 22-1 record. ASCHBB at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 17 games lost.

CODM - ASC 67-64

There was a minor upset when 10th ranked ASC (7-16) was edged by twelfth ranked CODM (6-14) in Meknes 67-64 on Tuesday. Newly promoted CODM maintains twelfth position with 6-14 record. ASC at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eleventh place with 16 games lost.

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Essaouira (8-15) lost on the road to tenth ranked Larache (8-15) 89-73 on Tuesday. Larache moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Essaouira. Essaouira lost fifth consecutive game.
