DEX-H Round 13 (Regular Season): FAR Rabat is defeated by FUS Rabat in a derby game

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Rabat: FUS Rabat (#2) and FAR Rabat (#7). FAR Rabat was crushed at home by 27 points 61-88 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of FAR Rabat. FUS Rabat (11-1) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place behind leader MAS Fez. FAR Rabat at the other side dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with Essaouira. FUS Rabat are looking forward to face MTB (#6) in Tanger in the next round. FAR Rabat will play on the road against Larache and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Important game to mention about took place in Tanger. Ninth ranked Essaouira (5-7) saved a 2-point derby victory on the road edging 6th ranked MTB (6-5) 76-74 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of MTB. Essaouira moved-up to eighth place, which they share with FAR Rabat. MTB at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Essaouira will play against ASC (#11) in Casablanca in the next round. MTB will play on the road against the league's second-placed FUS Rabat (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
Twelfth-ranked Larache (3-8) gave a tough game to sixth ranked KACM (7-5) in Marrakech on Monday. KACM managed to secure only two-point victory 68-66. However their fans expected much easier game. KACM moved-up to fifth place. Larache lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. They share it with ASC. KACM will meet ASCHBB (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Larache will play against FAR Rabat and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 13 ASCHBB was destroyed by AS Sale on the opponent's court 95-41. ASC unfortunately lost to WAC in a home game 87-90.



AS Sale - ASCHBB 95-41

Very expected game when 13th ranked ASCHBB (1-10) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked AS Sale (7-2) 95-41 on Monday. AS Sale maintains fourth place with 7-2 record. Loser ASCHBB keeps the thirteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with CPAM. AS Sale will meet at home CODM (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. ASCHBB will play against KACM and hope to win that game.

ASC - WAC 87-90

Rather predictable result in Casablanca where eighth ranked WAC (5-4) edged 10th ranked ASC (3-8) 90-87 on Monday. WAC moved-up to seventh place. Newly promoted ASC dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Larache. WAC will meet at home league's leader MAS Fez in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ASC will play against Essaouira (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

MTB - Essaouira 74-76
