DEX-H Round 7 (Regular Season): Leader MAS Fez gets another victory

The round 7 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Undefeated leader MAS Fez delivered the seventh consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they beat 6th ranked MTB (3-4) 75-64 in Tanger. Undefeated MAS Fez (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row. MTB at the other side dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with FAR Rabat. MAS Fez are looking forward to face ASC (#11) in Casablanca in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MTB will play on the road against CPAM in Midelt and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
Bottom-ranked ASCHBB (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 90-41 loss to second ranked FUS Rabat (6-1) in . But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The victory was the third consecutive win for FUS Rabat. Defending champion maintains second place with 6-1 record behind leader MAS Fez. ASCHBB lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. FUS Rabat will play against CODM (#7) in Meknes in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. ASCHBB will play on the road against Larache (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Other games of round 7 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Larache was crushed by AS Sale in a road game 86-54. CODM was beaten by Essaouira at home 90-104. WAC lost to IRT Tanger on the opponent's court 63-78. FAR Rabat outscored CPAM in a home game 74-38. ASC was rolled over KACM on the road 95-67.



AS Sale - Larache 86-54

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Larache (2-5) was crushed on the road by ninth ranked AS Sale (3-1) 86-54. AS Sale moved-up to sixth place. Larache lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with five games lost. They share it with ASC. AS Sale will play against FAR Rabat (#9) on the road in the next round. Larache will play against ASCHBB and hopes to get back on the winning track.

ASCHBB - FUS Rabat 41-90

Bottom-ranked ASCHBB (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 90-41 loss to second ranked FUS Rabat (6-1) in . But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The victory was the third consecutive win for FUS Rabat. Defending champion maintains second place with 6-1 record behind leader MAS Fez. ASCHBB lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. CODM - Essaouira 90-104

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Meknes where sixth ranked Essaouira (4-3) defeated 5th ranked CODM (3-3) 104-90. Essaouira moved-up to fourth place, which they share with KACM. Newly promoted CODM dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with WAC. Essaouira will play against higher ranked IRT Tanger (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CODM will play against the league's second-placed FUS Rabat (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

IRT Tanger - WAC 78-63

Rather expected game when 5th ranked WAC (3-3) was defeated on the road by third ranked IRT Tanger (5-2) 78-63. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for IRT Tanger. They maintain third place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader MAS Fez. WAC at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with CODM. IRT Tanger will play against Essaouira (#4) on the road in the next round. WAC will play against KACM and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

FAR Rabat - CPAM 74-38

Rather predictable result when tenth ranked FAR Rabat (3-4) outscored at home 13th ranked CPAM (1-6) 74-38. FAR Rabat moved-up to ninth place, which they share with MTB. CPAM at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with six games lost. FAR Rabat will play against higher ranked AS Sale (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CPAM will play against MTB (#10) to get more than just one victory in their record.

MTB - MAS Fez 64-75
