Harouna Abdoulaye (ex ASCVD) is a newcomer at FUS Rabat

Defending champion Fath US de Rabat (DEX-H) strengthened their roster with the addition of 32-year-old Nigerien guard Harouna Abdoulaye (196cm-81kg-1992, college: Miami, OH). He is the second foreign player on the team, with Tunisian Omar Abada signing earlier. Abdoulaye played last season at ASC Ville de Dakar in the Senegalese N1M league. In 5 Basketball Africa League games recently, he recorded 10.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 3.2apg, and 1.8spg. He also played for Nairobi City Thunder (Premier League) in the Kenyan league.
He is quite an experienced player. Abdoulaye has played professionally in Cameroon (Forces Armees et Police Basketball de Yaounde), Morocco (AS Sale), Cameroon, Niger (AS Nigelec), and Ivory Coast (Abidjan Basket Club). He won the Senegalese League championship title in 2025 and the cup in 2025.
Among many awards, he was voted to Afrobasket.com All-Basketball Africa League Honorable Mention back in 2021.
Abdoulaye graduated from Miami University in 2019 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player. He also played for College of Southern Idaho for one year.
