Wydad AC Casablanca (DEX-H) signed 31-year-old Central Africa-French forward Evans Ganapamo (201cm-88kg-1994, college: PVAMU) for the upcoming 2025-26 season. He played last season at Thunder in the Kenyan Premier League. In 5 Basketball Africa League games just recently, he had 8.2ppg, 1.8rpg, and 1.0apg. Last season, he played at UMFN Njardvik (Subway League) in the Icelandic league.
He is quite an experienced player. Ganapamo has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Africa, and North America). He has played professionally in Canada (Alliance), France (Paris Basket), Germany (Rosenheim), Iceland, South Africa (Tigers), NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks), and Central Africa (Bangui). Ganapamo won the Kenyan League championship title in 2025.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Regionalliga South-East Honorable Mention back in 2018.
He graduated from Prairie View A&M University in 2017 and it'll be his ninth season as a pro player. Ganapamo also played for University of New Orleans for 3 years.
