DEX-H Round 17 (Regular Season): FUS Rabat edges MAS Fez by two points

Fifth-ranked MAS Fez (10-7) made lots of trouble for first ranked FUS Rabat (16-1) on Monday. The visitors from Rabat managed to secure only two-point victory 69-67. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of MAS Fez. FUS Rabat have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-1 record. MAS Fez at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. FUS Rabat are looking forward to face AS Sale (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. MAS Fez will play against Larache and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tanger. Second ranked IRT Tanger faced 4th placed WAC. Host IRT Tanger (15-2) smashed guests from Casablanca (11-6) 68-47. The victory was the third consecutive win for IRT Tanger. They maintain second place with 15-2 record behind leader FUS Rabat. WAC at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. IRT Tanger will play against bottom-ranked CPAM (#12) in Midelt in the next round and are hoping to win another game. WAC will play at home against KACM (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Marrakech was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Larache (7-10) played at the court of eighth ranked KACM (6-10). KACM managed to secure a 9-point victory 85-76 on Monday. KACM maintains eighth place with 6-10 record. Larache lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with ten games lost. KACM will meet higher ranked WAC (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Larache will play against MAS Fez and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 17 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
bottom-ranked CPAM was crushed by FAR Rabat in a road game 91-60. ASCHBB smashed Essaouira at home 106-75. MTB was destroyed by AS Sale on the opponent's court 73-48.



IRT Tanger - WAC 68-47

CPAM will play against the league's second-placed IRT Tanger and hope to win that game.

KACM - Larache 85-76
