DEX-D Round 18 of Regular Season

Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

An interesting game took place in Oued Zem where higher ranked FUS Rabat (11-6) was upset on the court of ninth ranked RCOZ (6-11) 58-53 on Tuesday. RCOZ moved-up to eighth place, which they share with FAR. FUS Rabat at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. RCOZ is looking forward to face bottom-ranked RCA Casabl. (#12) in the next round. FUS Rabat will play against MTB (#3) in Tanger and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
9th ranked IRAN (5-12) was outscored at home by third ranked MTB (14-4) with the biggest margin this round 80-46. MTB have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with KACM. IRAN lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. MTB will play against FUS Rabat (#4) at home in the next round. IRAN will play against MAT (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last two games of round 18 bottom-ranked RCA Casabl. lost to AUIB on the opponent's court 45-50. ASG unfortunately lost to KACM in a home game 78-87.

AUIB - RCA Casabl. 50-45

Very expected game when 12th ranked RCA Casabl. (1-16) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked AUIB (7-11) 50-45. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. AUIB maintains seventh position with 7-11 record. RCA Casabl. lost fourteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. AUIB will play against league's second-placed KACM in Marrakech in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. RCA Casabl. will play at home against RCOZ (#9) to get more than just one victory in their record.

ASG - KACM 78-87

Very predictable result when second ranked KACM (14-4) defeated on the road 11th ranked ASG (4-13) 87-78. KACM maintains second position with 14-4 record having just two points less than leader IRT, which they share with MTB. ASG at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 13 games lost. KACM will play against AUIB (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. ASG will play against CODM (#6) in Meknes and hopes to get back on the winning track.
