DEX-D Round 12 (Regular Season): AUIB edge MAT by two points

The most exciting game of round 12 in the DEX-D took place in Tetouan. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 5th ranked MAT (7-5) to seventh ranked AUIB (6-6) 71-69 on Sunday evening. AUIB maintains seventh position with 6-6 record. MAT at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost. AUIB are looking forward to face league's leader IRT in Tanger in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. MAT will play on the road against RCOZ (#9) in Oued Zem and is hoping to win this game.

KACM have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-2 record having just two points less than leader IRT. Defending champion MTB dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. KACM will play against CODM (#6) in Meknes in the next round. MTB will play against ASG and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Undefeated leader IRT delivered the twelfth consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 11th ranked ASG (1-10) 75-54 in Tanger. Undefeated IRT (12-0) have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Newly promoted IRT maintains first position with a perfect record of 12 victories in a row. ASG lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with ten games lost. They share the position with RCA Casabl.. IRT will meet AUIB (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. ASG will play against MTB (#4) in Tanger and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 12 bottom-ranked RCA Casabl. was defeated by CODM in Meknes 54-44. FAR was beaten by FUS Rabat at home 53-59.

CODM - RCA Casabl. 54-44

There was no surprise in Meknes where 12th ranked RCA Casabl. (1-10) was defeated by sixth ranked CODM (6-5) 54-44 on Sunday. CODM maintains sixth position with 6-5 record. RCA Casabl. lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. They share the position with ASG. CODM will meet league's second-placed KACM in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. RCA Casabl. will play against FAR (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
