DEX-D Round 11 (Regular Season): IRAN edge AUIB by three points

Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most exciting game of round 11 in the DEX-D took place in . This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked AUIB (5-6) to eighth ranked IRAN (4-7) 49-46 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of AUIB. IRAN maintains eighth place with 4-7 record. AUIB at the other side keeps the seventh position with six games lost. IRAN are looking forward to face RCOZ (#10) in Oued Zem in the next round. AUIB will play on the road against MAT in Tetouan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Tanger: IRT (#1) and MTB (#3). MTB was defeated at home 61-68 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of MTB. Undefeated IRT (11-0) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Newly promoted IRT maintains first place with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. Defending champion MTB keeps the third position with three games lost. IRT will play against ASG (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MTB will play against the league's second-placed KACM (#2) in Marrakech and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Meknes was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked FUS Rabat (7-3) played at the court of 6th ranked CODM (5-5). FUS Rabat defeated CODM 58-46 on Sunday. FUS Rabat maintains fourth place with 7-3 record. Loser CODM keeps the sixth position with five games lost. FUS Rabat's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Rabat to the arena FAR.

Other games of round 11 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
RCA Casabl. was defeated by KACM in Marrakech 59-43. MAT beat ASG at home 83-69. RCOZ lost to FAR on the opponent's court 35-43.

There was no surprise in Marrakech where 11th ranked RCA Casabl. (1-9) was defeated by second ranked KACM (9-2) 59-43 on Wednesday. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for KACM. They maintain second place with 9-2 record having just two points less than leader IRT. RCA Casabl. lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with nine games lost. They share it with ASG. KACM will meet at home MTB (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. RCA Casabl. will play against CODM (#6) in Meknes and hope to win that game.

MAT - ASG 83-69

No shocking result in a game in Tetouan where fifth ranked MAT (7-4) defeated 11th ranked ASG (1-9) 83-69 on Sunday. MAT maintains fifth place with 7-4 record. ASG lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with nine games lost. They share it with RCA Casabl.. MAT will meet at home AUIB (#7) in the next round. ASG will play against the league's leader IRT (#1) in Tanger and hope to win that game.
