DEX-D Round 9 (Regular Season): Top-ranked IRT win another game

The round 9 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

DEX-D top team - IRT (9-0) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed ninth ranked IRAN (2-7) 76-39. Undefeated IRT have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Newly promoted IRT maintains first place with 9-0 record. IRAN lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with FAR. IRT are looking forward to face MAT (#5) in Tetouan in the next round. IRAN will play against ASG (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 9: MAT was beaten by MTB on the road 74-60. KACM destroyed RCOZ on its own court 79-51. ASG unfortunately lost to FAR in Rabat 41-56. CODM recorded a loss to AUIB at home 48-58.

MTB - MAT 74-60

Everything could happen in Tanger at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked MTB and 5th ranked MAT had identical 6-2 record. This time MTB used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Tetouan 74-60 on Monday night. MTB have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion (7-2) moved-up to second place, which they share with KACM. MAT at the other side keeps the fifth position with three games lost. MTB is looking forward to face bottom-ranked RCA Casabl. (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MAT will play against the league's leader IRT (#1) in Tanger and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.

IRAN - IRT 39-76

Very expected game when 8th ranked RCOZ (3-6) was smashed by fourth ranked KACM (7-2) in Marrakech 79-51 on Monday. The victory was the third consecutive win for KACM. They moved-up to second place, which they share with MTB. RCOZ at the other side keeps the eighth position with six games lost. KACM is looking forward to face FUS Rabat (#4) on the road in the next round. RCOZ will play against CODM (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

FAR - ASG 56-41

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eleventh ranked FAR (2-7) won against 10th ranked ASG (1-7) in Rabat 56-41 on Monday. FAR moved-up to ninth place, which they share with IRAN. ASG at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with RCA Casabl.. FAR is looking forward to face higher ranked AUIB (#7) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ASG will play against IRAN (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

CODM - AUIB 48-58

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 6th ranked CODM (4-4) lost to seventh ranked AUIB (4-5) in Meknes 48-58 on Monday. AUIB maintains seventh place with 4-5 record. CODM lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth position with four games lost. AUIB are looking forward to face FAR (#10) in Rabat in the next round. CODM will play on the road against RCOZ (#8) in Oued Zem and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
