South Sudan - Morocco 82-66

South Sudan overcame Morocco in Dakar Arena of the 2025 AfroBasket Qualifiers. They celebrated an 82-66 win in Group A.
Trailing 20-23 at the end of the first quarter, South Sudan answered with a 16-11 run in the second period. The third quarter was decisive in the game as South Sudan needed a strong 28-13 surge to seal the win.
Omot Nuni (204-SF-1994, college: Baylor) led the way with 17 points and Junior Madut (195-G-1997, college: Hawaii) poured in 15. Mohamed Choua (203-F/C-1992) replied with 17 points in a loss, whilst Jihad Benchlikha (186-SG-1992) delivered 14.
