Aminata Traore

MAT Moghreb Tetouan (DEX-D) signed 28-year old Mali ex-international center Aminata Traore (186cm-1995). She is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Cheyenne Talbot signed here earlier.
The last time (2019) she played at Partizan in Serbian 1 ZLS. She missed last five seasons and had longer break from professional basketball.

Traore was also a member of the Mali international program for some years. She played for Mali Senior National Team back in 2012 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2013.

Traore represented Mali at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 Qualifying Tournament in Beograd (Serbia) two years ago. Her team won Gold and she had over 2 points per game.
She has played previously in Mali (Djoliba Athletic Club Bamako).
Traore won Mali League championship title in 2019.
