DEX-D Round 17 (Regular Season): MAT lose to MTB in the game between Top 4 teams

Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Tetouan. 4th placed host MAT (10-7) lost to first ranked MTB (14-2) 77-69. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of MAT. MTB have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-2 record. MAT at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. MTB are looking forward to face WAC (#11) in Casablanca in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MAT will play at home against CODM (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Meknes was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked FAR (8-8) played at the court of seventh ranked CODM (8-7). CODM did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 53-35. CODM moved-up to fifth place. FAR lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. CODM will play against higher ranked MAT (#4) in Tetouan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. FAR will have a break next round.

In the last two games of round 17 FUS Rabat won against RCOZ on the opponent's court 58-51. IRAN managed to outperform WAC in a home game 46-42.

RCOZ - FUS Rabat 51-58

Very expected game in Oued Zem where 9th ranked RCOZ (4-11) was defeated by third ranked FUS Rabat (12-4) 58-51. FUS Rabat maintains third place with 12-4 record having just two points less than leader MTB. RCOZ at the other side keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. FUS Rabat will play against ASG (#7) in the next round. RCOZ will play against IRAN and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

IRAN - WAC 46-42

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eleventh ranked IRAN (2-13) defeated at home 10th ranked WAC (2-14) 46-42. IRAN moved-up to tenth place. WAC lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 14 games lost. IRAN will play against higher ranked RCOZ (#9) in Oued Zem in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. WAC will play at home against the league's leader MTB and will have a slim chance for a victory.
