DEX-H Round 17 (Regular Season): AS Sale is defeated by IRT Tanger

The game between third ranked AS Sale (10-4) and fourth ranked IRT Tanger (11-4) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. AS Sale was defeated by IRT Tanger in a tough game in Tanger 78-84. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of AS Sale. IRT Tanger moved-up to third place. AS Sale at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. IRT Tanger are looking forward to face bottom-ranked ASA (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AS Sale will play against the league's second-placed MAS Fez (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked KACM managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they edged tenth-ranked ASA in Marrakech 75-72. KACM (3-11) moved-up to eleventh place. Newly promoted ASA dropped to the bottom position with 12 games lost. KACM will play against higher ranked RCA Casabl. (#10) in Casablanca in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ASA will play at home against IRT Tanger and will have a slim chance for a victory.
DEX-H top team - FUS Rabat (14-1) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed fifth ranked WAC (9-7) in Casablanca 74-53. FUS Rabat have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-1 record. Loser WAC keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. FUS Rabat will meet at home ASC (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. WAC will play against Larache and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 17: Larache lost to MAS Fez on the opponent's court 54-64. ASC managed to outperform MTB in a home game 61-49. RCA Casabl. managed to beat FAR Rabat on the road 77-68.



WAC - FUS Rabat 53-74

DEX-H top team - FUS Rabat (14-1) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed fifth ranked WAC (9-7) in Casablanca 74-53. FUS Rabat have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-1 record. Loser WAC keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. FUS Rabat will meet at home ASC (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. WAC will play against Larache and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

MAS Fez - Larache 64-54

Very expected game when 6th ranked Larache (7-9) was defeated on the road by second ranked MAS Fez (12-3) 64-54 on Monday. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for MAS Fez. They maintain second place with 12-3 record having just two points less than leader FUS Rabat. Loser Larache keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. MAS Fez will meet AS Sale (#4) on the road in the next round. Larache will play against WAC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

ASC - MTB 61-49

There was a small surprise in Casablanca where ninth ranked ASC (5-10) defeated 7th ranked MTB (5-11) 61-49 on Monday. ASC moved-up to eighth place. MTB lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. ASC will meet league's leader FUS Rabat on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MTB will play against FAR Rabat (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
