DEX-H Round 6 (Regular Season): WAC beat ASC by three after a very close game

The most exciting game of round 6 in the DEX-H took place in Casablanca. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 8th ranked ASC (1-2) to sixth ranked WAC (3-2) 64-61 on Saturday evening. WAC maintains sixth position with 3-2 record. Newly promoted ASC keeps the eighth place with two games lost. They share the position with AS Sale and KACM. WAC are looking forward to face AS Sale (#8) at home in the next round. ASC will play against FAR Rabat and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
AS Sale's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Larache (0-6) 89-84. AS Sale (1-2) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with KACM and ASC. It was Larache's sixth loss in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. AS Sale will play against higher ranked WAC (#6) in Casablanca in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Larache will play at home against KACM (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Second ranked IRT Tanger blasted bottom-ranked RCA Casabl. (0-5) in Casablanca 97-63 on Saturday evening. RCA Casabl. is still unable to win any game. IRT Tanger (5-1) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. RCA Casabl. at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. IRT Tanger will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. RCA Casabl. will play against MAS Fez (#3) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 6 KACM was beaten by MTB on the road 65-50. ASA lost to MAS Fez on its own court 57-70.




ASC - WAC 61-64

MTB will meet at home WAC (#6) in the next round. KACM will play against the league's second-placed FUS Rabat and hope to win that game.

Rather expected game when 7th ranked ASA (2-4) lost at home to fourth ranked MAS Fez (4-1) 70-57 on Saturday. MAS Fez have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Newly promoted ASA keeps the seventh position with four games lost. MAS Fez will meet at home RCA Casabl. (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ASA will have a break next round.
