DEX-H Round 5 (Regular Season): MTB defeat FAR Rabat

The most surprising game was the first loss of FAR Rabat (3-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked MTB (2-1) 56-47. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of FAR Rabat. MTB moved-up to fifth place. FAR Rabat at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with MAS Fez. MTB are looking forward to face KACM (#9) in Marrakech in the next round. FAR Rabat will have a break next round.
KACM's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after one consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat RCA Casabl. (0-4) 72-68. KACM (1-1) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with ASC. RCA Casabl. at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. KACM will play against higher ranked MTB (#5) in Tanger in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. RCA Casabl. will play at home against the league's second-placed IRT Tanger (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
Bottom-ranked AS Sale is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their second consecutive match to fourth ranked MAS Fez (3-1) 58-47 on Monday evening. MAS Fez have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with FAR Rabat. Loser AS Sale still closes the standings with two games lost. MAS Fez will meet ASA (#7) in the next round. AS Sale will play against Larache and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 5 ASA was smashed by IRT Tanger on the road 95-68. WAC won against Larache on its own court 66-63.

No shocking result in a game when third ranked IRT Tanger (4-1) crushed at home 5th ranked ASA (2-3) 95-68 on Saturday. IRT Tanger have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Newly promoted ASA dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. IRT Tanger will meet RCA Casabl. (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ASA will play against MAS Fez (#4) and hope to secure a win.

WAC - Larache 66-63

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Larache (0-5) was edged by eighth ranked WAC (2-2) in Casablanca 66-63 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. WAC moved-up to sixth place. Loser Larache still closes the standings with five games lost. WAC's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Casablanca to the arena ASC.
