FUS Rabat signs Yacine Baeri

Fath US de Rabat (DEX-H) has signed Yacine Baeri, a 34-year-old Belgian swingman. Baeri, who stands at 196cm and weighs 85kg, last played for KACM Kawkab de Marrakech in the Moroccan DEX-H league during the 2020-2021 season. He has been on a break from professional basketball for the past two seasons.
Six years ago, he represented Belgium at the Afrobasket Championship, where his team managed to reach the Semifinals.
He has also played professionally in Austria and Belgium, for teams such as Oostende, Pepinster, and Gistel Oostende. Additionally, he has played in Morocco for AS Sale and Chabab Rif Al Hoceima.
The list of past achievements is extensive, including his participation in the final of the FIBA Africa Basketball League in 2019. In 2018, he was also voted to the Afrobasket.com Moroccan League All-Domestic Players Team.
