IRT Tanger - FAR Rabat 60-56 The game in Tanger was also worth to mention about. 4th placed FAR Rabat (9-4) played at the court of sixth ranked IRT Tanger (9-6). IRT Tanger managed to secure a 4-point victory 60-56. IRT Tanger maintains sixth place with 9-6 record. FAR Rabat at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. IRT Tanger will play against RCA Casabl. (#7) in Casablanca in the next round. FAR Rabat will have a break next round. WAC - MTB 63-65 Eleventh-ranked WAC (3-9) gave a tough game to first ranked MTB (12-3) in Casablanca on Saturday. The visitors from Tanger managed to secure only two-point victory 65-63. However their fans expected much easier game. MTB have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-3 record. WAC at the other side keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. MTB are looking forward to face league's second-placed FUS Rabat on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. WAC will play against MAS Fez (#5) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win. Larache - FUS Rabat 61-73 Very expected game when 10th ranked Larache (5-10) was defeated at home by third ranked FUS Rabat (11-3) 73-61 on Saturday. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for FUS Rabat. They moved-up to second place. Loser Larache keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. FUS Rabat will meet at home league's leader MTB in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Larache will have a break next round. AREH - RCA Casabl. 86-107 7th ranked AREH (7-8) was outscored at home by ninth ranked RCA Casabl. (7-8) with the biggest margin this round 107-86 on Saturday night. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for RCA Casabl.. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with KACM and AREH. AREH lost their sixth game in a row. RCA Casabl. will meet at home higher ranked IRT Tanger (#6) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AREH will play against AS Sale and hope to secure a win. |
