D1 Round 8: MAS Fes hand first defeat to RSB Berkane- April 11, 2021

AS Sale - OSC Safi 74-58 Bottom-ranked OSC Safi (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 74-58 loss to fourth ranked AS Sale (3-2) in Sale on Saturday evening. AS Sale moved-up to third place, which they share with FAR Rabat. Loser OSC Safi still closes the standings with five games lost. AS Sale will face CSCETB (#6) in the next round. WAC - FUS Rabat 47-74 Undefeated leader FUS Rabat delivered the fifth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked WAC (1-4) 74-47 in Casablanca. FUS Rabat (5-0) have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row, which they share with MAS Fes. WAC lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with four games lost. RSB Berkane - MAS Fes 38-67 The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of RSB Berkane (2-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by MAS Fes (5-0) 67-38. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of RSB Berkane. MAS Fes have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record, which they share with FUS Rabat. Newly promoted RSB Berkane keeps the third place with one game lost. They share the position with AREH. KACM - FAR Rabat 95-58 An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Marrakech. Third ranked KACM faced second-ranked FAR Rabat. Host KACM (4-1) smashed guests from Rabat (3-2) 95-58. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of FAR Rabat. It was a key game for the second position in the league. KACM have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. FAR Rabat at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with AS Sale. AREH - CRA Hoceima 87-60 The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked CRA Hoceima's (1-4) road loss to fifth ranked AREH (2-1) 60-87 on Saturday. AREH moved-up to third place, which they share with RSB Berkane. CRA Hoceima lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. CPAM - AMIB 83-60 CPAM can celebrate finally their first win this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat AMIB (0-5) 83-60 on Saturday. CPAM (1-2) left bottom position moving up to sixth place. It was AMIB's fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. They share the position with OSC Safi. |
