AMIB signs Jemimah Ashby for Moroccan Championship

AMIB (D1) signed 28-year old American swingman Jemimah Ashby (175cm-91, college: Augustana). She played this season at GIE Maile Matrix (WUBA) in the U.S. In 10 games she had 15.4ppg, 5.4rpg, 2.4apg and 1.6spg.

Ashby has spend her whole professionally career in WUBA with the Matrix. 2014-15 season was her best. She averaged a an impressive 19.8ppg, 6.0rpg, 3.4apg, 2.0spg, FGP: 50.9%.

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Ashby played in the final of WUBA in 2015. She was also voted USBasket.com All-WUBA Rookie of the Year back in 2015 along with All-WUBA First Team honors.

She attended Augusta State University until 2014 and it will be her first season as a professional player abroad.
