D1 Round 5 of Second Stage

The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

First defeat of league's leader Essaouira (2-1) against fourth ranked FAR Rabat (2-1) 77-56 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Essaouira. It was a key game for the second position in the league. FAR Rabat moved-up to second place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Essaouira.
The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated AREH (0-1) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by MAS Fes (3-0) 73-67. MAS Fes have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 3-0 record, which they share with FUS Rabat. Newly promoted AREH still closes the standings with one game lost.
