In 20 games she averaged impressive 15.9ppg, 5.4rpg, 3.6apg and 3.8spg (leader !!!) last season. It was a very successful year in her career as she was selected to Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga North 2nd Team.

This summer Thomas played in the Liga Mediterranean Cup for the Cleveland Havok. In 4 games she averaged an impressive 13.0ppg and 3.0 assists per game. She was later named Eurobasket.com All-Mediterranean Cup Honorable Mention Team.

Thomas played in the final of WBI Championship in 2016.

Thomas' game is described as: Deeshyra is a very quick, versatile player. She has multiple ways to score and is a fighter on both ends of the court. She is an outstanding on ball defender, with the offensive ability to shoot and pull up on a dime. She likes to push the tempo and create for her teammates.
