Three games, three wins for the Lebanese basketball champions so far at Houssam Eddine Hariri Tournament. Al Riyadi has indeed grabbed another win today against a strong opponent, Sale (Morocco). The final score was 92-80, with Fadi Khatib (198-F/G-79) leading the charge for the yellows with 27 points. Ali Haidar (201-F-90, college: Michigan Tech) was also excellent as he scored 22 while Dewarick Spencer (192-G-82, college: Arkansas St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) added 19 to help Riyadi top their group. From the beginning of the game, the yellows took the lead and never let it go, as the quarters ended (27-19 51-40 69-58 92-80).

AS Sale clinch seventh League title - 21 days ago
AS Sale celebrated the League title. They beat WAC Casablanca 77:59 for the trophy. The victory marked the fifth straight and seventh overall title for the team. AS Sale eked out a narrow 33:32 halftime lead. WAC pulled ahead for a narrow 50:49 advantage at the end of the third period. But AS Sale used a strong 28:9 run in the fourth term to seal the victory.   [read more]

AS Sale and WAC Casablanca advanced into the League title game. They went victorious in the seminal battles on Tuesday. AS Sale held off FUS Rabat 83:72 to reach the championship game. WAC Casablanca survived a tough test versus CRA Chabab Al Hoceima 62:57 to set up an exciting clash versus AS Sale for the trophy.    [read more]
