The National Basket - Ball League 2006

The Hoop will this Saturday, embarked for the Mayotte, where they will proudly defend the honours of the country in the annual CCCOI tournament which regroups the best teams of the Indian ocean. They will have teams of Madagascar, the favaourites, Reunion, Mayotte and Mauritius. The preparation was carried out with the help of the DTN Faida Antoine de Padoue and the girls gave a lot of appreciated effort during the preparation and will surely give their best to bring a medal and honours to the basket - ball of Mauritius. With the talents of experience players like Maggie Derblay, Christine Louise - Tanner, and the talents and fighting spirit of the youngs of the teams, Corinne Somauroo, Vanessa Speville, Yanna Venkatchellum and Karina  venkatchellum, the team will sure give a good display of the immense talent and high level players of Mauritius basket - ball in the Indian Ocean.
