2025 AfroBasket: Senegal topple Mali

Senegal claimed the second victory at the 2025 AfroBasket. They beat Mali to improve at 2-1 record in Group D. Brancou Badio (191-G-1999) and Jean-Jacques Boissy (183-PG-2000) netted 17 points each to pace the winners.
Mali looked the better side in the first half. They jumped to an 18-14 lead after ten minutes. Mali extended the margin at 8-point mark at the big break 40-32. But Senegal turned the tables in the second half. They ignited a massive 27-10 run in the fourth period to secure the victory. Siriman Kanoute (180-PG-2001) notched 20 points and 9 assists for Mali.
