Spanish Basketball Academy tabs Souleymane Traore

Spanish Basketball Academy (1Div) signed 23-year-old Mali 210cm center Souleymane Traore for the upcoming season. He spent the last four years playing for Zamora Enamora in the Primera FEB. The level of Primera FEB was a bit too high for him, as he didn't score in 7 games and only managed 4 rebounds and 1 block. 1Div will be a better fit for him, and he should get more playing time.
He was a member of the Mali U19 National Team in 2021.
Traore has played ppg for three other teams: Unicaja-Andalucia, Betanzos, and Unicaja.
His team won the Spanish LEB Plata Cup in 2024.
